| Miniature Circuit Breakers (Higher Rating) | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| GENERAL DESCRIPTION | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|
AECO is proud to announce the introduction of higher rating MCBs for the first time in India. This range consists of 80, 100 & 125 Amps ratings from 1 upto 4 poles. This range incorporates the latest developments in the technology of circuit protection. The small size and high breaking capacity make it ideal for use in all fields including household and industrial installations. They can be easily used in place of conventional switches and even MCCBs. These MCBs are designed for and conform to many national and international specifications including ISI, lEG, CEE, NBN, VDE, BS and AS. A truly outstanding range from a group with an international reputation for high quality and technical innovation. |

| FEATURES | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|
Rated Gurrentfrom 80 Amps to 125 Amps available in B, G & D characteristics as per IS:8828-1993/1995 & lEG Pub 898 (1987/1995). |
Can be mounted on standard 35mm DIN-rail and in any conventional distribution board. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Mounting by a two stop location clip which allows easy adjustment while assembly on the DIN rail. | Module width is only 1 Y2 times (27.5 mm) that of other lower rating MCBs available in the market, height and depth remaining the same. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|
Unique extra-large connection terminals (input and output) able to accommodate upto 70 mm2 solid or stranded conductor, with captive screws and specially designed washers that ensure excellent gripping without damaging the conductor. |
Clear visual indication of ON or OFF position of the MCB. |
||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| The terminals are fully shrouded and prevent accidental direct finger contact. | Also available as isolator and in shunt trip version for remote tripping applications. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Specially designed operating knob to facilitate an easy manual switching operation. | Takes up approximately half the space of conventional MCCBs of the same rating. Therefore, panel size and cost can be reduced. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| In case of multiple poles knob is extended to enable switching with minimum of effort. | Delivered to you in robust weather proof packing. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| DESIGN DETAILS | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Shells in self-extinguishing and tropicalised high grade thermoplastic. | Rapid arc extinction by a uniquely designed blowout magnet with results in low let through peak currents. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| The arcing zone is encapsulated in a high temperature resisting chamber. | The emission of ionised gases is limited to the severest restrictions. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| The moving contact operates with spring operated quick make mechanism to prevent minimum arcing resulting in long life of contacts. | Weld resistant silver-alloy high conductivity tips provided on both contacts ensuring the lowest power loss. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Trip free mechanism with secure interruption. |
Unique electromagnet operating the plunger which breaks the contact instantaneously in case of short-circuit. |
||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Internal insulated parts made out of state of the art high grade engineering plastic compounds. | Designed to withstand upto 10kA short circuit currents. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|
Use at D.C. |
Use at 400 Hz |
||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| At D.C. the magnetic tripping current is j: 40% higher than atA.C. | At 400 Hz the magnetic tripping current is approximately 50% higher than at AC 50/60 Hz. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
